เป็นสมาชิกพระจันทร์เสี้ยวการละคร ตั้งแต่ปี 2554 มีผลงานเขียนบท การแสดง และเป็นผู้จัดและนำกระบวนการเทศกาลละครยี่สิบสี่ชั่วโมง “24 hr Festival” ปัจจุบันนอกจากทำละครแล้ว ยังเป็นนักแปล และเป็นอาจารย์สาขาการละคอน คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

Orada Lelanuja
has been a member of Crescent Moon Theatre since 2011. She is a playwright, performer, and coordinator for the 24 hour play festival. She is also a translator and teaches theatre at Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Thammasat University. Some of her playwriting work includes Project ¼, Page 2 Stage, In the Grey Room, [un]tied, The Last Schombrgk’s Deer (co-writer) and Women and the Lighthouse.
Some of her past acting work includes Project ¼, In the Grey Room, The Dramatist Must Die, Happy New Year Mr. Smith, Shade Borders and Women and the Lighthouse.

จากผู้เขียนบท Women and the Lighthouse ผู้หญิงกับประภาคาร
ผู้หญิงกับประภาคาร เป็นงาน performance text ที่เขียนขึ้นจากนวนิยายเรื่อง To the Lighthouse ของ Virginia Woolf ซึ่งเป็นนวนิยายแนวกระแสสำนึก มีตัวละครมากมายและความคิดของตัวละครที่สลับซับซ้อนวนเวียนไปมา ระหว่างที่อ่านนวนิยายเรื่องนี้ ผู้เขียนได้เห็นมองเห็นภาพ คำพูด และเสียงในห้วงคำนึงของตัวละครในแบบ collage หรือภาพตัดแปะ และเมื่ออ่านจบก็ได้ลงมือเขียน performance text เรื่องนี้ตามภาพและเสียงที่ได้ยินเมื่ออ่านนวนิยาย โดยที่เขียนแต่ละฉากขึ้นโดยเอาคำที่ Virginia Woolf ใช้มาจัดเรียงใหม่ให้เป็นภาษาของตัวเอง และเรียบเรียงให้มีลักษณะคล้ายกับ blank verse หรือกลอนเปล่า แต่ยังคงมีบทพูดของตัวละครอยู่ และถึงแม้ว่างานชิ้นนี้จะเป็นเหมือนภาพปะติด แต่ก็ยังเล่าเรื่องที่เกิดขึ้นในนวนิยายทั้งเรื่องตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ โดยที่โฟกัสไปยังตัวละครบางตัว ความรู้สึกบางอย่าง หรือเหตุการณ์บางเหตุการณ์ที่ได้เข้ามากระทบกับความคิดและความรู้สึกของผู้เขียน

Writer's note
Women and the Lighthouse is a performance text adapted from Virginia Woolf’s novel To the Lighthouse. While I was reading the novel, I saw some images, words, and the characters’ stream of consciousness in the form of a collage. After I finished reading the novel, I began writing from the images and words that I saw and heard while I was reading. I used Virginia Woolf’s words, but I rearranged them as my own in the form of blank verse with some dialogues. Even though the text is a collage, it still more or less tells the whole story of the novel, with the focus on some characters, some feelings, and some situations that spoke to me when I was reading the novel.
